I wonder how many posts I've started like this? I don't think I'm going to bother going through my archiving files to count.
Really want to move away from blogspot to wordpress, so I can do cool things.
Anyway. I digress.
Saturday evening I had a sore throat and runny nose. It's allergies season, runny nose is common, sore throat, not so much. But then again it's always cold season in England.
If there was an Olympic Medal for colds, then I'd always win Gold. Just sayin.
Sunday, I'm wheezy and coughing and bleurgh.
Monday, I'm worse, but I go to work anyway. (glutton for punishment is my name it seems) I don't even make a full shift.
Tuesday, wake up worse, call doctors office, have appointment within the hour.
See nice new doctor (who doesn't look a day over 21!) who after checking me over and prodding and poking me with her stethoscope (which thank god wasn't ice cold!) tells me I have Bronchitis. Not viral bronchitis, bacterial. Because I'm lucky like that.
Off I trot with a prescription for a lot of drugs and instructions to rest and take said drugs with food. If my wheezing doesn't come under control then I'm to head to Accident & Emergency to be nebulised.
These damn steroids better start kicking in.
I don't want to go to hospital.
I can guarantee you that hubs won't want to go either, cause he hates them.
I hate being sick, cause there's nothing to do, nothing on tv, just nothing. I don't even have proper internet connection.
*insert massive coughing fit*
Guess that's my queue to finish up.
Can't even write a post on here to get 15 minutes respite from this stupid illness.
Well at least I'm not infectious.
I don't think.

Hey miss FYI my son had the same problem with allergies, colds, bronchitis etc and once even had walking pneumonia. After constant doctor visits medications including steriods which made him blow up like a balloon and made him extremely irritable I found a doctor who put him on the following meds: singular, claritin and inhaler. The inhaler was used only at first sign of wheezing and after about 6 months on this program he was so much better. We had tried nebulizer which we had a home, humidifiers you name it and he was constantly sick home from school miserable. I dont know if you can get singular there in UK but worth a try. I does work really good. hope you feel better soon. hugz
